Dr. William H. Pettit is a
graduate of Ohio State University and has been in practice for over
25 years. He is an emergency clinician at Animal Emergency
Service of South Jersey and has his own practice which is Peticote
Veterinary Clinic, LLC. Dr. Pettit specialized in
reproduction for over 20 years and implanted the first successful
US frozen embryos in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. His
wife used to teach high school , but has recently decided to assist
full time in the veterinary clinic as the office manager. Dr.
Pettit has been a member of the Southampton Township School Board
for 7 years. They have six children, one of which
(Jeannette) is attending Oklahoma State University's
College of Veterinary Medicine. Kim is in Pre Vet at
Delaware Valley College.
Carolyn Pettit is Dr. Pettit's wife. Carolyn has a never ending job and can be found in the clinic at almost all hours. She graduated from Ohio State University with a Masters Degree in Education. Carolyn met Bill when she was a 4-H Agent in Ohio and he was the dairy judge. They were married approximately 2 years later amd have 6 children. She has worked with Dr. Pettit as a technician and office manager for 30 years. She is usually our furry guests' best friend while staying at Peticote for medical treatment. Carolyn works at the front desk setting up appointments and assists as a technician when needed. It is not uncommon to see one of our patients with her in her office or the house if they are having trouble adjusting to being away from home.
Stacy George is a Certified Veterinary Technician and the team's Senior Veterinary Technician. She is a graduate of Delaware Valley College with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She comes to Peticote with a wealth of valuable experience having been Senior Technician for VSDS, a Specailty Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. She is a valued member of our team.
Mary Callens is a Certified Veterinary Technician that graduated from Stockton College. She is an experienced technician who hopes to be accepted into Veterinary College in the future. Mary is very interested in Veterinary Dentistry and assists with most dental procedures. She is also a valuable member of the Peticote Veterinary Hospital Team.
